Default What is the best place to look for a home ?

I am looking to buy a home soon, I want to find one for around $30k

I think foreclosure is my best option, but I don't know where to look.

I have found many realer websites that have 1000's of homes listed, which is the best website to search for a home here in Miami Florida or the surrounding areas.

How do I know if the house comes with no strings attached or back taxes or leins or code violations ?

Let me know, thanks alot, I look forward to being a part of his nice forum.

Talk to some agents and find one you are comfortable working with and who seems knowledgeable and then work with them. They will be able to find what you are looking for if it is available.

I suggest you check the internet for agents who specializes in foreclosed homes then you check either with the bank that owns the property or with HUD regarding the requirements and possible rules that they will apply if they are selling a foreclosed property. The most common problem you will encounter with a foreclosed property is that most of them tend to be neglected and it is up to you to do the repairs.

Check the listings over Zillow and contact an agent in the area to help you in the process.

Look for an agent in your place to help you or assist you regarding this. Ask for referrals from family and friends.
