i am a realtor and i have been asked by some of my clients on how to invest in real estate in devleoped real estate market. Since i love to learn, i want to know the process it involves to invest in properties in a foreign country.

The first thing you need to know is the current climate of the real estate market in the area that you are interested in. For example, is the area more inclined to rentals than outright buyers(like New York) and the legal rules on property buying in the area. Most countries have no problem with foreign buyers, however, these buyers are still very much liable for the taxes that the area imposes.
