Default Questions about buying a house in Nebraska

My husband and I are looking to buy a house in Nebraska. I do not want to have my name anywhere during the process of buying the house. Meaning, I do not want to be on the mortgage, deed, title or anything. The reason for this is because I have a lien on me from a previous marriage for taxes. For the record, I do pay my taxes and by the end of 2011 all of my current debt that was acquired during my previous marriage will be resolved. My husband has been pre-approved for the loan and the lender which in this case is USAA, does not require for me to be on the loan. I just have to sign a paper with them acknowledging the fact that he is buying a house and my name will not be on the loan and my credit is not taken into consideration.

Within the state of Nebraska, is it possible for one spouse to purchase a house without the other spouse being affiliated with the house? My name would be on nothing at all.

    Thank you in advance!
