Default looking for FHA approved properties

hey guys, i have a few questions:

    1) i was pre approved for an FHA loan and was told to use the HUD site to search for fha approved properties. unlike the homepath website, there are no pics for me to view the listings. are there any other fha sites with a similar layout as the homepath website?

    2) im looking to purchase either a foreclosed condo or house in the 30-45k range. this will be my first property. any tips for a first time buyer like myself?

    thanks in advance

Interview some real estate agents until you find one who knows how to work with FHA, and you trust and who will show you all of the houses in your price range that meet FHA requirements.

Then work with that agent to find the right house.

You can go to bidselect.com to search for FHA properties. Here is also a link on some requirements for FHA, especially if you're buying a condo. hud.gov/offices/hsg/sfh/faqs/atl1val.cfm
