    Default Depends on your needs

There are pros and cons to every purchase
A mobile will afford you more space for your dollar and you are likely to spend less $ overall to purchase a mobile. Other positives include parking several cars next to your home, having no one live above or below you, park amenities can be fantastic, the park could be local to your work making it easy to come and go, and potentially affording a newer model with better features than an old condo.
On the negative would be value of return upon sale. Mobiles do not tend to increase in value significantly or at all. Another negative for some is the high rental space of some parks and the continued increase each year of rent (although the increase tends to depend upon the economy). Last on the negative is that some mobile home parks get run down if not managed correct and therefore this leads to issues in those communities.

Pros/Cons for Condo are they generally hold their value and...increase over time. While you generally pay a higher purchase fee you will pay a lower "HOA" fee for the amenities and the coverage includes insurance for the roof, painting, gardening, and community amenities. Condo's, while smaller than a mobile, afford some people the feel of the quaint home style and community that they want to be a part of.

In either case your decision should be made upon your personal experience and needs. If you are planning a family and don't have a lot of money to start a Mobile might be the best way to go. If you are into being part of the downtown jobs/nightlife a condo might be more your fit.

    Best,
    John Perkins

Condo's are really very good and it will be better to go with this. One should know better prospective of buying the condos. Pros and cons should be followed before buying.

This is a very broad question. Is it better from a home-owner's perspective? From an agent's perspective?

I assume you are asking which is more likely to be a good investment that will show positive returns when/if you go to sell. If this is your question, then investing in a condo will almost always be a better long-term investment than a mobile home.

I prefer to just buy a home. I dont like how close my neighbors can be in condos.... and hate the hearing all of their noise.

This is a very broad question, you're talking about oranges and apples here. You might want to check mortgage guidelines first before thinking about buying a mobile home, most lenders wont even lend on a mobile home these days. I would go with a condo, easier to buy and most likely easier to sell.

Yeah I agree with you there. Mobile homes are deff bad to get into.. and condo's aren't that difficult to sell.

It depends on your place. You can choose mobile homes or a condo depends on the trends in your community. Know first the trend of the market before choosing the house that you want to sell or buy.

Condos are different and so as the mobile homes. I like mobile homes more in comparison to condos. Mobile homes are not that much costly and anyone can afford it.
