    Default How to view properties

I'm a first-time home-buyer and am unfamiliar with realtor etiquette. I started looking online, found a property I liked, and contacted the realtor listed on the web page.

I have since found other properties I would like to look at, listed by other realtors. But the way the first realtor talks, it sounds like she is in charge of what I do now. Do I tell her about the other listings? Will she then get together with these other realtors and agree to let her show me these other properties? Or do I contact these other realtors directly?

    Thanks.

This agent is not in charge.

Do not sign an exclusive buyer agency agreement with anyone until you are sure they are the one you want to help you. Once you sign it you take on financial responsibility unnecessarily.

Talk to a number of agents until you find one you like and who is offering you the most help. Your agent should supply you with lists of possible houses and not just houses listed with their company. If an agent is trying to sell you one of their companies listings find another agent.

They should be asking you questions about what your plans are and what is is you are looking for. If they are not interested in you and your plans find another one.

There are plenty of agents out there and you will have to sift through the detritus to find the good agents.

It is really important to have an ocular visit of the property you want. Of course to choose the agent that is fully trained and has attitude whom you can negotiate the best and fairest property price.

Thumbs up Buying, Selling, Leasing Always Work With a Realtor!

Agents have showing systems that they can show you all the properties on the real estate market in your area. It is easy and ethical to work with only one agent, you can see the properties easily, you do not have to worry about the offer, counter offer or real estate terms. Your agent will explain to you and watch out for you.

You will get better deals with Realtors because imagine you are buying your first home but they have been in this business, buying, selling negotiating daily.

    Good Luck

Only Realtor can give the best deal for buying a new home. But the most important thing is that you hire the best Realtor for you. You should consult a number of Realtor before you hire one for you.

All the very best for your first home..

I have seen many realtors that are doing it for their interest and they dont provide you with best deals and it simply affects everything. we have to make a right decision while choosing a realtor.

So it's best to not much depend on the realtor. We should also do our own research when buying a property. So that we would know if the realtor is giving us the right choice.

Ya, the reason that the first Realtor is treating you that way, is so that you feel as though you and her and a relationship and commitment. She would prefer you to stay with her to find a home, as she is a real estate agent and that is her business. For you as a buyer, though, you can look at homes with whomever you see fit, but would recommend perhaps talking to a few Realtors, getting to know them and then working with the one you like the most (still do not have to sign an exclusive buyers agreement), but at least if the Realtor knows you are just working with them they will pay more attention to you and be more helpful.

You are definitely right! A Real Estate agent will always do her best to have you take their offer. Their only purpose is have sales for their job also.
