Need a good agent in DC
I need somebody to introduce me and potentially help me buy a property in DC. I was trying google search and mailing few agents but they turned out not to be very professional and keen on responding. Thanks

Try this link. There's some really good agents on Active Rain.

I'm telling you, I've had the same problem. Realtors not returning my calls and emails. Business must be very good. The names will be remembered for the times it's not. I'm flipping houses and purchasing rental properties with cash right now. A good agent will be kept in my contacts database forever and used every time.

New immigrants are really dumb. They fall for any scams possible. Its agents like Laeeque Ahmed lurking in the corners waiting for them. People like him should be sitting in jail as they are no different from Madoff or the ENRON chief. He is a crook and I have read a lot about him in various complains boards online.

That's, uhhh, interesting. I'm beginning to think there are no good realtor forums on the Internet.

Finding a good agent in DC
One thing I like to do to hear what people are really saying about someone, is once you've narrowed down who you might want to represent you, do searches on Google using their name and also include the word "forum" or "comments" or "blog". Sometimes you might come across some info about the person you didn't want to know, but are glad you found it out before they started representing you.
Also, if they are willing to connect with you on Facebook it might be worthwhile to see what their friends are saying to them on their "wall". What's that saying about you being like the company you keep?
