Default What is the best way to reach out to RE professionals to identify projects to fund?

As a private lender, we are trying to tap into the right resources to connect to commercial real estate professionals and others who can help us identify investors and developers and their projects that need funding.

What resource can I go to for this? Where can I find RE professionals who I know will have such connections?

What is the best way to reach out to them? Is there an online networking site where I can send an e-mail? Will they respond to e-mail or will I have to make phone calls to speak with each one?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Warm regards,

    Jack

There are many different ways to find leads that are looking for these particular services but a lot of it would depend on your companies goals and focus. I'm assuming this is on a local scale so I'll give you a few pointers you might not have already tried based on that assumption.

    • Contact the local title companies and make them aware of your services. Title companies are coming in contact with the people that are in need of your services on a daily basis. The marketers in particular seem to have their fingers in on everything so they would be the person that I would seek out at each of the prominent title companies in your area.
    • Attend the local realtor functions - They might not be the people that need your services but they definitely know the people.
    • Create a flyer and visit local real estate brokerages to see if they'll let you hang it in their break room or by the mail boxes.

I dont really like the idea of mass e-mailing, especially when it comes to financing. It is often junked or ignored. It's ok to email people your offers but I feel its always best to contact them prior to adding them to your email list.

I hope that some of these help.

    Default Thanks for the tips....

I appreciate you taking the time to provide me with these tips. I had not thought about the title companies as a good source. I will take everything you mentioned into consideration.
