Default Second mortgage, is it hard to obtain?

Is it difficult to obtain a loan on your second mortgage? Before I got married, I lived with my mom and sisters, and my name is on the mortgage. Now that I am married, I want to buy a house with my husband, but still want to keep my name on the first mortgage (my sisters have bad credits, so can't transfer the loan to them). Do you think it would be hard for me to obtain a 2nd loan? I'm not sure what to do at this point.

    Please advice...thank you so much!

Talk to some local lenders and see what they say. Depending on your situation 2 loans is no big deal.

A lot depends on your credit history and the way you paid the payments, your income and so on. You should better go to the local bank and consult all the matters.
