Buy House Questions
Hi
Am new here and is exploring the idea of purchasing a house in San Fran or LA (CA). Would like to know the following:
1) rules and restrictions for a foreigner buying a house in CA, USA
2) the property taxes and laws, maintence issues and fees involved
3) where and how to get a reliable, experience realtor
4) which websites are good to view detail listings for free (seems a lot websites need a fee after 7 days trial and to register you need to submit credit card information)
5) saw some apartment/houses selling at 20,000 - 90,000. Is that the current trend now? As I am not sure if these houses are in a bad neighbourhood etc
6) a lot of houses are build around 1910s - 1960s. Are these acceptable standard in today's term?
Appreciate some advise.
Thanks much

Real estate agents
First and foremost, I highly encourage you to find a top real estate agent in San Francisco. He or she will be able to meet you for coffee and help you through all of these steps/questions.
