Smile Are you building or buying a Steel House or a Wooden House?

If you are looking to Buy or looking to Build a new home you can choose to use Steel instead of wood. There are many advantages of building a Steel House such as:

1.) Steel Structures are stronger in comparison to Wooden Structures.
2.) Steel Houses are free from Termites.
3.) You can stay free from the worry of Fire, Tornado, Hurricane or Thunder Storms.
4.) You can choose to use Red Iron or Light Gauge Steel structures.

Share the knowledge that you have regarding Steel Homes within this thread.

I think, it is better to have green houses but the most common houses are with steel frames (of course) and cement. I think, it is hard to build without steel but it is difficult to have with pure steel. Do you get my point? Specially now, global warming is all over the world. Steel are conductors and might absorb heat and prone to electrical failures/accidents.

I don't think it's very healthy to live in a steel house. Green one is more suitable to live in, but it's not enviromentally friendly. May be it's possible to combine everything - steel and wood.

I would choose to build a house that is made of steel, the advantages of having a steel house is really amazing. while buliding a wooden house once a typhoon hits your house, there is greater chance that it would collapse.
