Just moved to San Antonio, Texas and was looking to buy a house. I was a little skeptical about the value of the homes being offered. A friend of mind suggested to have an appraiser do an appraisal on the house that I had my mind set on. I searched and could not find any appraisers in San Antonio who did not charge an arm and leg. Finally, I ran across Abquest Appraisal Service on google. I called Abquest Appraisal Service and they provided me with results and they were inexpensive. They confirmed my suspicions that the house was overpriced. I re-negotiated with the seller and will be moving into my new home next week.

If you are in the San Antonio area. Look them up on the net. They are worth it! I did not know it was so hard to find an inexpensive appraiser. Do not buy a house without getting it appraised. Even if you do not call the company I used, get an appraisal.
