    Default land purchase

I am looking to buy some land to build a house on. "Potentially for my self" or for resale.

SHould I get a buyers agent? What are some things I need to look for?

    Default In my opinion...

    Hello,
In my experiences, having a buyers agent will make things simpler and overall run smoother in the long run.
Unless you have some sort of experience in purchasing land on your own, I especially suggest a buyers agent. With vacant land, you will need to collect many papers and things. A buyers agent can potentially help with getting permits as well.
    Good luck!

You could also ask some home builders as they also offer some good list of land for sale where you can build your house.

    Default Additional Information

For additional information, you can also consult a real estate firm if they have available property or to gain more information about this kind of business.

You can consult to your area's real estate consultant and also seek a help of a realtor who will give you the potential sellers and you can easily accessible to the potential and genuine person very easily.

You should to some local agent compulsory as it's impossible to buy the land alone without any professional help. You need to know lots of details and minute things that you have no idea about.

Moore's right. At the very least and practically no cost to you: get yourself an agent. Ask to see their land listings. Maybe, as others have said, they're experienced in these matters and can fast track permits and papers and licenses and all that crap you're gonna need anyway.

See, while you're busy at your day gig, your agent could be gathering info for you. Such as land dimensions, deed requests, blue prints perhaps from the city planning board or whomever, getting you reputable well drilling companies, local, hungry builders. Now, when you get home (or if you have the luxury of communication during the day because your boss isn't a jerk), you can go through all of what they gathered for you.

This is a pretty big undertaking man. You don't want to fly the ship alone.
    "If it's a fast ship?"
"She'll do point five past light speed. She's fast enough for the old man."
