Default 2 Buyers for house search in 2 different areas

    Hi

I plan to use a Buyers agent for my house search. But I plan to concentrate on two areas.*

    QUESTION:

Since buyers are location specific , do I have to work with 2 buyers for the two different areas ??*

    Appreciate any help

    Thanks in advance

First of all, how far apart are the two different areas?

For instance, I live in Boise, Idaho but I also serve Meridian, Eagle and Kuna. I could probably go further...and I have, but I prefer not to. In my area, it's common for an agent to serve all of the same areas. I would also assume that since I'm a native of the area that I have a pretty good knowledge of the areas.

If the 'areas' you are talking about are small enough or close enough, there is no reason to have two different agents. If you're buying hours away from the other, then yes, I would recommend getting another agent for that area.

You are absolutely right Boise and your suggestion is absolutely perfect, there is as such no need of two agents for different area in the same city or even different cities but in the same state, you can get two if you are out side your state or vice verca.

Just make sure you interview enough agents to be sure you have one who knows both markets. Don't end up with an agent who is willing to work outside their sphere of knowledge because this means they are thinking more about their paycheck then your satisfaction. And there are a bunch of agents who think this way.
