    Default Does anyone know of a good database software

    I have about 3000 leads that I want to put into electronic form and then do a mass email and mailing. Is there a good database software that can work for doing that. I have very thorough leads some with loan amounts and socials. So i am looking for something good. Please let me know.

    Are you looking for mass mailing? Or more like an address-book type system?

    Default I think both

    Yeah I think both. i want to send out mass mailings but also have it available to my telemarketers to call from. I just want to have everything automated and so when i do a mass mailing of say 3000 i can see what kind of results I get.

    The database would have to have a template with everything included such as income, home value, social security, other properties, etc

    I am a mortgage broker and I have all of these pages and pages of leads.

    You have a large range of choices here that vary from relatively cheap to expensive. I suggest for your emailing (outgoing) needs the cheap solution, which is to put your data in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and working with Outlook, use a feature called Mail Merge. That will do all your mass emailing work for you. Automating the response is a little more difficult. You could have telemarketers update the spreadsheet manually assuming you set it up on a network share to prevent two people from trying to update the sheet at the same time. A more expensive solution is to use Microsoft Access, which can be customized by a software developer to provide a user interface to search and write to the database in a more user friendly way. The most expensive (initially) way is to have a custom web site that allows the email recipients to use the website themselves and elimintate the telemarkers completely.
