you will need 6 months of your personal monthly expenses saved...
you will have fees everymonth with whatever agency you are with...
honestly now is not the best time to be in realestate... at least starting out...
my realtor has been a realtor for 32 years... she see coldwellbanker hire on 30 people and normally 28 leave within a month and the other 2 make it to the 6 month mark...

real estate career
Welcome catcat66!
Real estate is a fun and exciting career but you must be prepared for it ahead of time. 6-9 months of reserves for normal personal expenses is great advice. Plus you must remember that in order to make money you'll have to spend money, i.e., advertising, dues, office fees, etc. If you are really dedicated I believe there is no bad time to enter the real estate market, those that enter in a down market are brave souls and can build a good client base for prosperous years ahead.

Firstly you should have the appropriate education or about it. Then you need some experience and then you should be ready to work with people. But this can be a bit difficult.
