Unhappy Ready to start my career, but I need help and advice!

I Want to begin to take my real estate classes and begin a career in this field. The problem you ask? The real estate classes i've found are either 8 hour classes mon-fri 8-4 or 6 hour classes on nights and weekends 4-10. I have a job right now that I hate. It's just simply not what I want to do with my life. This job requires me to work 40 hours a week and to have completely open availability. I also just bought a house and got married so I cannot afford to put my job on hold or quit. As you all know these are hard times. Im trying to find a real estate secretary job or even a real estate assistant position around the Nashville area, so I could at least take classes around my schedule, but there's nothing out there that I can find. So my question to you all is, do you know of any other way to take my coursework needed?

    Thanks for reading and responding,
    Taylor Hampton

Taylor, you may want to at least investigate if you can take some classes on line. I have taken designation course work on line, but not sure if this is available for pre-licensing. If you have vacation coming, you may want to use this time to take some classes. Also, many real estate companies don't hire at the end of the year, so you may find more job openings after January 1st. Don't give up your quest to get into real estate, and it's ok to take classes gradually.

Why don't you call your local board and see if pre licensing classes are available online through one of the area real estate schools? They should know what is being offered. I know that in Vegas you can take the entire pre licensing course online for sure.

    Default I agree with Dan...

I agree with Dan. You can obtain online courses and trainings anytime. You don't need to spend long hours, just the free hours you got there will be okay. Some of the sites offer free video seminar. Try it and goodluck!

    Default Real Estate School

Check the internet for online schools. Our school is in CA and we offer our courses as correspondence courses, meaning you study on your own time at home and take the final exams for each course online. I am sure there are many schools in Nashville that are online or correspondence based courses. Good luck! If you are ever in the market for a CA real estate license, feel free to contact us!
