Getting bumped to next month
My application has been through processing (Monday of last week) now they say it is still in underwriting, over 5 days now. Banker kept saying it would be here by closing date 10/28/09 has come and gone now, still he kept saying it will be here tomorrow. Other couple vacated the home I am buying last weeekend, I am due to vacate my condo on Saturday. All utilities switched, mail forwarded, furniture ordered and will cost me to stop delivery and change the date. Today was the very first time my banker uttwered the words, "you probably won't close in October". I think I'm getting 'bumped' into next month and I do not have the extra intyerest $$$ What can I do? Do I have any recourse whatsoever??????????
