Check in your state for renters rights...as far as I know you have at least 30 days to move out from when you were notified.

It sounds like the real estate agent already gave you notice that you will have to move out. If you are a renter then look at your lease. it will say how much notice you should receive. If you are not on a month to month lease the new owner might have to honor the lease and let you stay until the lease expires.

Residential Lease Agreement and your move out
Unfortunately, most of the time banks don't know the proper route for letting tenants out of their leases. And furthermore, most of them don't care. They are in the business of financing the properties (not property managing them)...
The best thing you can do is to check what your tenant rights are for your state. You can do this by checking out HUD and searching for your state. It will tell you exactly what you are rights are. It may or may not be 30 days for foreclosure.
And, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but the previous owner is under no obligation to return your deposit.
It is a drastic oversight.Stirling Gardner
