I am considering purchasing an adjacent property. Upon purchase, or after, I am considering joinging the parcels. I've done a search on the web and can't seem to find anything on it. Does anyone know how difficult this would be, and what the steps are? For instance, could it be done at purchase with a refinancing of my current loan to include the new parcel as one? Or, if done later, could it be joined and split to different dimensions later? I know the laws differ from state to state, so any general knowledge about the process is appreciated. Thanks.
