Default Buying my first home in Virginia

    Hey everyone

I am in the process of buying my first home in Virginia. I understand that I qualify for the $8000.00 tax credit.

Am I correct in assuming that I receive a credit in April or May of 2010 for the full 8000.00? From what I understand you will not receive it until then.

Also does anyone have a recommendation for a good home insurance company? I understand if you combine both car insurance and home owners insurance you often can get a deal.
