Termite Extermination
Before moving into a newly purchased house, I was hoping to have it exterminated? Anyone out there who can give me some idea and examples of how to do it and how much it would cost me would be greatly appreciated. I've never had a home before but I have seen some homes completely covered by a large circus tent? It's an old home so, I was thinking maybe I should have it done before moving all our furniture.

Are you talking about having it treated for regular bugs or termites? Termites you should have a professional do and it will probably cost $1000+. If you looking just to treat for regular bugs, you could either call company and have them treat it every couple of months or you can do it yourself. You should be able to find a do it yourself pest control company that sells commercial grade sprays that will do the trick.

Ouch, termites are really hard to deal with. Exterminators will really demolish a wall if needed be. What a hassle.

There are to main ways of termite control and they are biological and chemical. And in my opinion, its really important to get termite extermination done by professionals. If the termite extermination is done correctly, you should not have to worry about becoming infested again.
