    Default fair market value

I am in need of info, regarding the fair market value of my apartment.
I have life tenancy in said apartment, and it has recently sold, so I am to be paid monthly for the fair market value of it.
I have no idea where to go to get this information , or at least to get an accurate account of what the fair market value would be.
I don't want to list the address or any of that info here , but thought you could perhaps contact me by email or such.
I will say, it is a two bedroom apartment two bath, plus I have two, two car garages, one of them has a automatic garage door opener, plus, three fairly good sized storage units, that are located on the property, but separate from my apartment.
I would appreciate, even an estimated fair market value , or any info you could possibly give me, to point me in the right direction, to get the info.
    thank you

    Default fair market value

Without having a lot of information the best I can do for you is to offer you a free report on how to appraise your own property. Go to the blog link below in the sig and you can find the form to request this report. Even if you hire someone to do it this will give you the knowledge to make sure they do it right,
    Good luck,
    donrock

Thank you donrock for your answer, but I think I must not have made it clear as to what we are dealing with here.
The apartment I want the fair market value on is one of 40 other units in an apartment building, so surely I should be able to find out what the rest of them are renting for......but how? I rarely talk to any of my neighbors, and would not be so bold, as to ask them what they paid for rent anyway.
So, actually all I need to know is what the other apartments in my area are renting for, to be able to know the fair market value, you know what I mean. I tried emailing real estate companies in my area, but have recieved no replies as of yet.
    thank you again.
