    hey mike,

there's a countless amount of resources that you can use to get your RE education up to speed. Personally though, I would recommend taking courses at a local junior college for the following reasons:

-accredited(as long as you pick an accredited JC)
-unlikely to go out of business, which means you can easily access your education history
-likely to be approved with the DRE
-offer in person and online courses

    good luck

    K

If you can take courses at a local RE school, it is a great place to meet brokers and agents that will be good connections in the future. Another benefit of the local school is it will touch on local market conditions.

All of the above is good advice.

Also start trying to find a mentor to teach you the business. In exchange you can provide assistance in small chores and grow into a larger role.

Real estate courses teach you real estate law. Consider taking some marketing, salesmanship, personal development and motivational courses too.

I searched Google. I just typed in "online real estate course" and a lot of good results came up.

What are you trying to study real estate for?

Do you just want to be an investor? Are you trying to get your broker's or salesperson's license?

For investing, read and take in as much as you can. There are a ton of different investing strategies out there, some actually conflict with each other. So read as much as you can online and in books. I would recommend getting real estate investing, foreclosure investing, house flipping, etc. for dummies to start.

If you want get your RE license, go with some sort of online program. I think I paid 200 for the 6 or so broker classes I had to take. The courses are a joke; they just give you a 500 page pdf and then you take a 100pt multiple choice question online which you have to get 60% on.

    Hi ,

There are many good books on the market, however as an active real estate investor, I suggest one that shows a series of advanced strategies and practical steps on how to succeed with real estate investing based on easy to follow instructions and weekly tasks. If you'll follow - you will succeed.

    To Your Success,
    Alex Gates
