    Default Reliable Books?

Hi, I've wasted my money several times now on books that turned out to be written by scam artists or by people with no factual information, but rather pep fest "Change your life now!" crap. This upsets me, it seems like everyone who writes real estate books is some con artist.

I'm really looking for a reliable book that will teach me a lot that's not trying to sell me something. Any ideas?

On what subject? There are a million different real estate related topics, you need to be more specific.

    Default The Real Estate Books

    Depends on what your after?

    To understand this business better:
I would recommend psychology books if you are just getting in to real estate. I've found that most of this business is trial and error and understanding folks is a big part of it.

    Motivational Books?
Start with: "Who moved the cheese", I liked "Rhinoceros Success" myself.

    best of luck!

I'm also in the hunt for a good real estate book. I would prefer something on a broader scale that includes at least an explanation of everything that goes into the business.

VancouverWa, psychology books sounds like a good idea. Do you have any you could recommend to me? Anything specifically geared towards real estate?

    Thanks for the help.

Giaps, generally all NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) books comprise all the information in all psychological books.
Try Awakening the Giant Within by Anthony Robins.

As for me, the best book that includes everything about success, psychology, and happiness is Golden Apples by Bill Cullen.

Best business book: Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

Best real estate book: Millionaire Real Estate Investor.

I look forward to read your opinion, best of luck.

    Adwa,
Thanks very much for your reply. I have Tony Robbins' book and I'm going to look into the others as well. I'll definitely let you know what I think about them and I'm sure I'll come back to thank you again for recommending them.

I really don't think you can go wrong with books and courses by Robert Kiyosaki. I feel he genuinely wants to help others achieve what he's achieved through the power of real estate investing. I loved every single book I ever read of his.

Of course this is just my opinion through my experience. Trusting a source of information is naturally something ultimately only you yourself can decide.

    Best of Luck
