    Default Are there Performance Guarantees?

    Hey you all.

A few things I've been pondering about the real estate business. Do real estate companies have a performance guarantee?

For example, if a client is not satisfied with the company's performance, could they terminate a listing agreement?

    just wondering.

There are several ways to get out of a listing agreement. However most important would be to make sure when signing there is no penalty and you can cancel whenever you want in the first place.

Be sure to set a specific expectation for the way the property will be handled. That way, if things don't go to your satisfaction, you will have valid reasons for terminating the agreement.

It will make your conversation with the broker in charge go much smoother.
