Neither lol, it better to buy real estate in Las Vegas, we have a much better real estate market and you can get double the home for half the price. We havea ton of people from California relocating to Las Vegas every month.

Hehe...as much as that may be true, I love California...can't think of living anywhere else in the states, nor really would I want to, no offense to Las Vegas. I'm a Cali girl. :D

Thanks though!

Yeah I would have to agree if I was going to lice in California I would probably buy a home in San Diego and live there. Las Vegas is not for everybody, but I will have to admit, since I am from the south and I dont live there, Las Vegas is the next best thing for me personally. I have a relative that lives in San Diego and he lives it.

Ya, San Diego, is an awesome city to live in. But my curiosity was with all the research that I have been doing in regards to the comparison of prices on homes in San Diego opposed to the price of homes in Orange County. It seems to me that the OC has a better price for a buyer like me for the amount that my fiance & I can afford and the size of the place that we want.

Here in SD, the homes are just priced sooo..high to buy. Probably because it is an awesome place to live.

Hi Donelle,

Go to my site www.SanDiego-House.com and go to the buyers tab then click on Median Home prices tab and it will direct you to their site! (They take all the Real Estate Sales Stats and post that information in a very nice Report)

San Deigo is nice, but N.Calif is better. The San Ramon Tri-Valley is the place to be. :) Check out http://www.your-home.us or http://best-homes-and-rates.com and see what I mean. :p

Northern California is like a whole different culture. Amazing what a difference a few hundred miles can make.

I have lived in Orange County for over 30 years. And love it. It is safer and more jobs and better group of people. And the real estate is the lowest in foreclosures in the are. Like San Digeo have 49% and Riverside about the same LA 16%. So there are many reason when foreclsoures happen, but the biggest one is some one loses a job and it takes two to pay the mortgage.

I have been in San Diego county too. And really hate that area. It is very different down in San Diego county. My mom still lives there and brothers and sister and they never had a dream for anything else.

But me I'm a visionary and want to know how others live and so I move to Orange County in the 70's. And have been here since. I have lived in Huntington Beach California for over 20's. Huntington Beach has won the safest place to live for many years and I agree.

So if you are looking for a home here email me. I'm a realtor for Century 21 Beachside HB. And can help you in all your needs.

And the homes maybe higher than Nevada, but is it safer.

Have a great day..

I disagree, Apple Valley Ca is the best place to live finacially, and socially, The schools are exceptional.
I have a 2 bedroom house 1 bath with 1.27 acres of land horse property close to shopping, school, parks, pool and more it is the best for the low, low price of $230,000. contact Val Rensink at Exit realty :)

The people make the city. It's just way more relaxed than anything you couuld possibly hope to find on the east coast, including florida. In my experience, anyway.
