Thanks a bunch! I couldn't find links to them anywhere in the forum - did I miss them?

That's what I figured. I'm using phpBB which is pretty good and free and I don't have feeds links up for public yet either, but I know where they are :cool:

For anyone interested...[Mike? :p ]

Here is the code I use for RSS and XML Icons using CSS:

<div>
<a target="_blank" title="RSS" href="link-to-your-rss-feed.php">
<span style="border:1px solid;border-color:#CCF #336 #033 #79F;padding:0 3px;font:bold 10px verdana,sans-serif;color:#FFF;background:#0066FF;text-decoration:none;margin:0;">RSS</span></a>
<a target="_blank" title="XML" href="link-to-your-xml-feed.php">
<span style="border:1px solid;border-color:#FC9 #630 #330 #F96;padding:0 3px;font:bold 10px verdana,sans-serif;color:#FFF;background:#F60;text-decoration:none;margin:0;">XML</span></a>
</div>

Neat. I took some extra code out - looks exactly the same to me.

<div>
<p><a target="_blank" title="RSS" href="link-to-your-rss-feed.php"> <span style="border:1px solid #79F; font:bold 10px verdana,sans-serif; color:#FFF; background:#0066FF; text-decoration:none;">RSS</span></a>
<a target="_blank" title="XML" href="link-to-your-xml-feed.php"> <span style="border:1px solid #FC9; font:bold 10px verdana,sans-serif;color:#FFF;background:#F60;text-decoration:none;">XML</span></a>
</div>

All,

I was just inthe process of getting this linked into the site. Once again, your recommendations come quicker than I can surprise you.

Anyway, my brother is a project manager at newsgator and I am going ot be seeing him next week. (read vacation).

I wanted to see what ideas that he has or is working on to really add value to the Forum. I will keep you posted, however I hope you can wait a week or so ;)

Neat. I took some extra code out - looks exactly the same to me.Looking at your code I imagine your version would lack the padding and the border color which gives the illusion of depth. Either way, they look good to me. ;)

Dummy me - I didn't preview it in the browser - I thought my DW would show it corretly in its own preview, I see how stupid it looks now :o

External.php seems to be turned off. Will it be coming back on? I've been using it in a couple of places ;)

The RSS Feed is working again. When we did a back up to the website, the external.php file was deleted somehow......Doesn't make sense, but the problem has been rectified. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. :)

I can see it using my browser and feedreader

but I get this when trying to use it
MagpieRSS: Failed to fetch http://www.realestateforum.com/external.php?type=rss2 (HTTP Error: connection failed (11)Failed to fetch http://www.realestateforum.com/external.php (HTTP Error: connection failed (11)

yet I have no problems with the feeds from other vBulletin sites. Odd.

The RSS Feed should be fixed. I have checked it on my google feed reader and on my Yahoo account. It is now working again.

Let me know if you continue to have problems.
