Or you could just pay a visit to Directory Critic. They have a list of over 400 article directories you can submit to for free. Alot of them have good page rank as well.

One thing to keep in mind...

While this is quite a nice list of article directories, you need to understand that submitting your article to all of them will only waste your time. For those of you who are familiar with the 'duplicate content' algorithm Google uses, you'll know that if your article distributes to a ton of sites, it will not be counted anymore. Submitting the same article to all of these sites just yells 'duplicate content'.

To take full advantage of it, you need to change up or make variations of your article. Change about 35% (50% to be really safe) of your article before you submit it. Granted, this is very time consuming to do, but at least you'll know that the articles you distribute will not be ignored by the search engines.

Well one of the site that i regularly submit my article is http://www.arucc2006.com and their acceptance is fast, generally i have got mine accepted in a days time-but they are strict with quality though

Hand submitting is too time consuming! I use article marketer and end up with anywhere from 800 - 1000 instances of the article on the web. All I have to do is write useful articles and submit it to them.

If you have 18 links from pages with PR 1 then your page will be ranked PR 1
