I recently read an article on AgentGenius.com about a Realtor who shifted her attitude from agent centric to customer centric (http://agentgenius.com/?p=2738).
Her results seem to have been worth the work, what do you think? Who comes first - you, or your clients?

Your clients always come first... A lot of agents make the big mistake of speaking all about themselves during a listing presentation. What do you think happens if you, as the home seller, interview 5 agents and 4 of them talk about their big company, their awards, their previous successes, their sales numbers, etc. and 1 comes in all ears and actually listens to what your concerns are, addresses each of them patiently and fully, showing you that they know their business well, and tells you what they would do to get your home sold by being considerate of your needs, timeframe, and sensitive to your thoughts and opinions? Who would you give your listing to?
If you always focus on your clients and how you can help them best insted of looking at everyone as a commission check, you'll earn more money, be more comfortable with yourself and your clients, and they will be more comfortable with you and spread the word... :)
