Great idea if the forum can attract some buyers and sellers. We would just need to target some of the search phrases for the members here and their markets..IMHO

Interesting idea. I found that there are more and more buyers out there going to places like craiglist.com to search for homes. In fact, 2 of my buyers last week went to craiglist and found their own dream homes. Luckily they contacted me to do the contractual part. We'll probably need to arrange it by cities for the home for sale section to attract buyers.

Max said it best. I've noticed so many listings on craigs list now. Its funny how much the internet really does for everyone.

There are sites now that specialize in helping you post onto sites like craiglists. They offer nicely formatted pages to help you stand out from the crowd.

For a list of them visit www.realpinions.com (http://www.realpinions.com) and look for the category on On-Line Posting Services.

Craig's list can also be used to drive traffic to your own sites. Just add the URL's to your listings. Also good as a one-way link to your sites. :)

As it is now with all these websites using the IDX of Homeseekers is pretty stale merchandise asit stands now. That is supposed to be updated every 3 days. Could be a big job that makes billions in revenue or refered to as missleading and old information, once in a while a deal.?? What is your goal to list properties for what kind of consideration?

I always go in with the intention of/and the listing agreement pre-filled with 7-8%. It is amazing what that alone will do for your average %. While you may bot get the full % on the agreement, your conversation - after your "marketing consultation" is much stronger. Of course, you must have a "custom marketing plan for that specific home in that specific neighborhood in today's selling market."

All the best,

Robert

What happened to the other MLS where it had all the listings Multiple with new homes in there too. Now for a small fee you can have that mls on your site too. And as everyone rushes to be the first on there site to offer the new (tomatoe) all the links you add to your site makes the one being added a reputable site there by promoting a company that charges twice for the original service promised. BYT it is called the brandnewmls "where is the stroke key ahh...///

This one tooka turn I thought the topic was creating a new listing source for us on the forum?

Now it is driving traffic, it is like the car dealers do send you a key to a new car and if you respond chances are you need a car. You visit they have an oppurtunity to show you there line and customer service/store. Now your company is in the running. As long as the client is not blown off as ...(a where is that stroke key)? ah...//

So you need to give your consumer a reason to go to your site and you have 3 seconds to dazzle them or convince them that your site is IT! or they click the back button. Your site should be a brochure of you and your company, with easy free services to help and guise them in their decision process. Look for a BMW or MBZ on line the local companies that make it easy are the first to get tha call. We all know how important that is.

You need your driving force to be related to your industry to qualify your leads. You do not want just anybody to enter you free nordstroms gist cert, heck everybody wants new clothes. You want somebody who is looking to live or finance, right. Well there you go... How about something that gives to your community? A resource that BTW has a simple format to shop your product when the occasion arises.
Thats all 4 now

Good Idea Real Estate Forum! I'll add a property to that section! Only downside might be people spamming it if they have tons of properties for sale... Or maybe you want that I dunno.

good idea. after all, this is a real estate forum, so grab the chance that there are real estate agents, brokers, and interested buyers and sellers participating in this forum. not only will it drive traffic but you will drive many online marketers and readers to patronize this forum.
