Quang Nam Province People's Committee yesterday announced that land use prices approved before December 31, 2007 will not be applicable starting on June 30.
The committee asked provincial departments and localities - especially management boards of industrial zones, urban areas and the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone - to resurvey their areas and submit results to authorized agencies to determine new land use prices.
According to the decision, land use prices are applicable until December 31 of each year, regardless of the date of approval. New prices will be decided and put into effect on January 1 annually to ensure sufficient money for infrastructure investment and prevent losses of revenue.
