Yes. Make a very good business card (by 10,000) and give one to all and every person you meet: at the red light, at the bank, at Wal Mart, on the beach, Fair, restaurant tip, you name it....

There are plenty of free websites that you can promote your website on like:

Craigslist
Kijiji
Backpage
Active Rain
Wanna Network
Myspace
Facebook
Linkedin
Squidoo

That should get you started :)

My first tip would be to make sure the site actually works ... not loading at the moment from my end :)

Sure promote it on forums and press release websites etc. Look into search engine optimization and other ways to bring traffic.

Ps. I'm new here!

The link you posted doesn't work. But before you spend any money promoting your site you need to get a new domain name. Your use of the term "realtor" infringes on the realtor trademark and they will eventually make you change it.

Have you tried uploading a video that talks about your site in various top ranked video sharing sites? This is one of the simplest yet effective ways to promote your website.

Write meaningful and interesting articles to be posted to your website then join a Digg group. I am starting a Digg group very soon just working on putting together enough members to make it worth while. Please let me know if any of you here on the forum are interested in taking part.

yes, using Realtor in a domain name is a big no no! When NAR finds out you will get a friendly letter from their attorney. Change it now before you waste any money promoting it.

SEO managers are your best bud on promoting try to contact some SEO companies tin order for you to promote your website in the search engines, there are notable companies that are the best in their craft. I think most notable is jump2top.com they have big time real estate clients as well and they make a good job on it.

I have had great success using google adwords or pay per click. you can do the same with yahoo, msn, etc but google is the easiest and most prevalent. warning though, you will spend a lot of money here but the key is to have your webpage offer a lot of good information and ability to capture their contact information ie. registration page with name, email, phone number, etc. this way you can contact them back. this pay per click method is the fastest way to drive traffic to your site and start getting leads. you can also go the SEO route and try to optimize your site so it ranks high on the organic searches but this is a much longer process and takes some research on your part to figure out how to get it done.

i would recommend searching this forum for "seo" and you will find some great suggestions and even services offered to do it for you.

1)
Combine the actions of each piece of marketing that you use to result in your website. The first step to this is obviously to put your website URL (which I would change btw). However, using consistent design elements, colors, prose, etc will result in a clear branded message.

2)
There are 2 types of Real Estate websites out there right now. Figure out which one you want to use and stick with it. You're currently confusing the two types and as a result, diluting the user experience.

Business Card Extensions
===
Basic information on you, your business, your success and your properties.

Content Driven Realty Sites
===
Sites that encompass a business card extension but give the user a reason to visit. These are typically the most successful sites but also require the most work. From blogs, to video, to audio, to pictures, compelling content is the foundation of a website that draws traffic.

You can do a lot of things to improve your site. If you're strongly committed to becoming an agent who values the Internet, seek the assistance of an established local web development or PR firm.
