Too many episodes of "Flip This House" and artificially inflated home prices have made many people forget the true meaning of what a home is all about. Add that to the conflicting business and news reports and it's no wonder the market is stalled.

I agree completely, the shows like "Flip This House" make people think that it is easy to make a house cost more, and end up charging more for their house when it is no where near the price that they put it up for.

the show makes people think of the very easy but innovative house but I agree that it sometimes we forget the value of a true house.

Sometimes we just forget that a house is a home. A home for one, a couple, a family, an extended family. But just a home.

This article truly makes one think about the whole "buying a home" process. I'm currently trying to save up to buy my first home because i am tired of wasting my money renting an apartment. And with the housing crisis going on, i figure this year would be the best time to do so.

You could not be more correct than you are with this statement. If you can qualify for a mortgage you can go out and find yourself a home of excellent quality and own it for an affordable price do to low interest rates. I wish you luck in your home search and please let us know what you like to see provided by agents during your home search.

yeah that's right, it is important to value the real meaning of home, and this show, values of the things we should do at home...
