I don't see the answer to that anywhere. I'll post in the AA forums and see what they say.

Thanks everyone!
I had no idea... how nice to have an "internet family"!
I got an answer to my post on AA, they are stopping the voting on July 15th.
July 15th is the last day to vote.
Thanks again everyone, I'm not sure how to feel... this is really cool that everyone would pull together for me. And thanks again Mike for noticing that I was nominated in the first place. Browsing the competition huh???????

Without a doubt. (Oh, and thanks for the vote!)
They have an excellent staff for customer support and they have an excellent product for the real estate website market.
I would like to get a completely custom site now that I ahve more knowledge than when I started, but no way I'll ever drop my AA sites. I'll just add a custom one to the mix. PM me if you want more insight...

A bit shabby nominating sites all based on the same template. Makes them standout as clones

Good point Sarah, funny thing is there must be a thousand choices for templates over there at AA and 90% of the people pick ones form the first page. It's as if they don't know there are another hundred pages of templates to choose from.

I am not sure if I would go for AA if I were just starting out. As a former Homes.com employee, I would have to go with their website because it has a built in lead generator thorugh the National Homes.com database. They have also recently released an online HTML editor so you can build your own pages.
They still can't rank worth a damm, but while I was their, I created a number of customized designs using their custom template.
Check out this one which is still up..... http://www.debrahobbs.com
or this one at http://www.prescotthometours.com
I now by posting these, I am opening myself up....but hey...if we are talking about being a family....... Now if you want to see the custom sites we do now...:D

I like that Ninja Blog look. But it seems to have messed up the template when you've added your logo on the right hand column.

Enough said.
With no HTML knowledge and barely any webmastering skills, I have managed to get my site ranked in the top five for many, many very competitive KWP's following the advice given by AA and their private forum as well as utilizing the tools they have to offer. They have MLS/IDX systems, lead systems and so much more.
I never really pick on other website companies, I know that no one host is king, but just look at what I have been able to do with my AA site! I even have many interior pages placing very well (even with frames!, imagine that) for very competitive KWP's like Carefree Real Estate, Google (http://www.google.com/search?biw=982&hl=en&q=carefree+real+estate) has me at #4 for that one.
Enough testimonies here though. I like Advanced Access, you like Homes.com. We'll agree to disagree...

Wasn't meaning to diss you. Just adding some opinions to the conversation. If you thought I was saying anything against AA, I was not. My sincerest apologies.

I personally welcome ALL opinions. That is why discussion forums are great. People can make up their own minds. I do have opinions but will keep them to myself :D I may throw out a couple of things here and there but overall we ALL have our reasons to decide what is best for us :)

No need to apologize, even if I was offended which I was not. Not sure if you noticed or not, but I actually gave you a green before I posted my comments because I laughed so loud at yours... "even if they don't rank, start with Homes.com". I was thinking "what's the point if they don't rank".
I merely thought your post was funny how even you couldn't argue that they rank. Just kind of laughing... you'll find that I'm very, very hard to piss off. Life is too short.

It doesn't seem that there is a lot of choice from AA. All those sites are very uniform. It would be nice to see a little more variety, but Matt gets my vote...
ST, thanks for fixing up and emailing me about the forums being fixed...

Thank you guys! And about AA sites being so similar .... I won't get into it :)
I cannot be biased but I need to say that if you are happy with your site, that is all that matters. I have my own preferences. And I am working on creating sites that rank and are user friendly as well.
There is always a better way to do things and practice makes perfect :)

At first I was just going to vote for Matt. Thought that was pretty unfair coming from a forum group so started checking out the others. Got bored with the same stuff over & over & went right back & voted for Matt.
You know, as long as you can get your site to rank well I don't care what it looks like (well, it should look somewhat professional) or if it's a template or not. Sometimes I feel we, as webmasters, are a tough crowd. However, we're creating our sites for real buyers & sellers out there that are probably quite impressed with most of our sites.
In fact, I have to admit I like the look of AA sites (imagining that I was a buyer). I think most have a professional look that appeals to the average surfer. Most have too much "stuff" which could make the site seem difficult to navigate, but I see that with a lot of different real estate and mortgage sites out there.
Congrats Carol!

There is little pre-construction in the Florida Keys because we have a housing cap so very few new large projects and they are taken by the developers friends and real estate agents in the loop. If you have somethings in So Beach let me know.

My pleasure and thank you for your vote of confidence. I was thinking about a Key West thread but it would make me feel self-conscious it I put it on here. However, you sparked an idea that others may be interested in also.
Everyone has pride in their community. What if those of us with blogs on site or using the forum blogs invite others, that will reciprocate, to post information about their respective community. It could even be an ad for a rental or property. This could be an enjoyable way to get external links and that we can all benefit from. I want to think about it more and perhaps start a thread. If anyone would like assistance in setting up a blog for their site I would be glad to help.
