I would suggest if you have enough people interested in the preferred partners, that you create a section for members only and those that belong have access. It could be a place to share ideas and thoughts pertaining to some of the insider secrets we all try to keep for ourselves..lol.
Plus there are certain things that you may not want the search engines to see and you could prevent the spiders from spidering that section.
