Bob Caine isn't a very competitive search term.

And to do it by pay per click = crazy.

Cheaper and more staying power to just do your own website to pull #1 in the SERPs for your name. Any even remotely half baked site should be able to get #1 for that search quickly.

Malok is right. You're not going to impress me by paying Google to be the #1 spot on Google. I clicked your listing to check your site- it cost you and I didn't buy anything. Also- being #1 in the SERPS doesn't mean people will buy what your selling- the odds are better yes, but your 2+2 doesn't seam to equal 4.

Hmm, I bet if we post a few Bob Caine (http://www.anthony-thomas.com/store/images/FancyMixedNuts.jpg) links to this page we can get it to #1 in the organic SERP's fairly quick!

This is not a pay-per-click. qAlias costs $10/month. If you have ever tried to get a site to #1, you know it is not simple. It takes a lot more than a few hits.

The advantage is that I can just tell people to Google me to find them. I have found this extremely useful especially for people I have only talked to on the phone. Much more effective than sending them to a generic website first where they may or may not call me call me back.

I was just letting people know. Sorry, I bothered you.

This is not a pay-per-click. qAlias costs $10/month.

Pay per click that you manage, or Pay per click that someone else manages with a flat fee per month/year is still PAY PER CLICK.

The $10/month you are spending will pay for hosting for your own website. Just use a free engine/template to do your site (Wordpress, whatever) - and you'll end up with a far superior end product - that ranks for a LOT MORE TERMS than 1 completely non-competitive search term.

Bob Caine is not really a Real Estate keyphrase that buyers will google to get Real Estate properties.
If you live in ... let's say... Fairfax, VA...Nobody will Google 'Bob Caine' for properties there...

OMG this is so funny.

Bob just started to learn what a search engine is. He is not as smart as he thinks he is.

This is not real

I'm not sure what to say. You pay someone else $10/mo to bid on your name on AdWords which you could probably buy for much less than $10/mo. Maybe it makes you feel good to rank #1 for something, but I see no value in this service at all.

Pay per click would get you there, all it takes is money.

In most cases it requires tons of money to have a ranking with a competitive search term.. for instance Google suggest to have around 15k daily budget to rank 1-3 on PPC for "furniture" search term... etc etc..

Unless you have a really popular name, you should be able to rank in the majority of spots between #1 and #10 by signing up for free accounts such as myspace, linkedin, facebook, twitter, etc.

Again, this is really only an ego-play, so it's not of much use, but I have found that plenty of people find me by googling my name, and they find me via their favorite site so it is good to use all of them.
