Mike,

Not only did I vote for you (you are now tied at 7 votes for 2nd place), but I just joined today for the first time and gave your username as referrer.

My username over at Digital Point is Phoenix Arizona (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?userid=6502), I just posted a "hello" thread.

Not trying to lure anyone to another forum, but I have said it before: digitalpoint is my favorite hangout. There is no real estate section there but anything web development related is being covered. I think DP and this forum is all you guys really need :)

Basically like in every forum it is great to ALWAYS introduce yourself first and get to know people. Some people are intimidated to post in forums where they talk about topics that are not your own area of expertise (even though all of you guys are way knowledgable in seo compared to most members over there).

I personally go straight to internet marketing sections when joining a new forum of a different kind (after introducing myself).

It's good to let people know you are good at some things and need help with other things. That is all that message boards are really about.

You're "prolly" right.

I thought his name was Steve. I said "Hi Steve" over there and he wrote back "Josh!" in correction. Is he fuc-in with me?

I've been on sitepoint for 2.5 years but don't post too much. It's just a very good place to network whenever you need something specific.

Happy to be of help. I have noticed that the quality of forums overall has been going way down lately. The fools are taking over and the good members are being discouraged by that and become less likely to help and spend time there. This is why I wanted to start my own with the right people. I love this forum but must admit I feel awkward for not being a realtor myself. I may join the dnforum (http://www.national-real-estate-directory.com/real-estate-forum/showthread.php?t=761) exclusive club soon. I figgure that the ones who pollute the free forums are not willing to spend $400.00 just to troll and post for backlinks :)

I will keep you guys posted. And please keep sharing all of your experiences (good and bad) with each others here :)

Rock on !!!

Well Well....I have to say that I am a past REALTOR and really enjoy this forum. I have been slow to adapt to this form of communication but I enjoy being able to communicate with other realtors and share my online expereinces...especially as they relate to marketing real estate online.

So many realtors are looking for the product that will give them more business than they can handle online, but the reality is that just like the real estate profession, the online world is driven by information and knowledge. No one thing is going to bring you instant success. It is a process and part of the process is participating in these forums.....and we want this over time to be the number#1 real estate forum on the web.

Just my two cents
