I just checked in and saw I had a PM sent much earlier today. If this is not fixed ASAP, I think Mikey needs a serious spanking.

Hey All,
Have been looking into the selective notifications, however it is harder to track down when the software is not creating any error messages. We will continue to look at the the problem and try to locate the issue.
Thanks for your patience.

I have been looking on the vbulliten support forums ans it looks like we are not the only people having this problem. Vbulliten has proposed some fixes but it looks as though they don't know the exact answer yet. Still digging
Thanks for looking into it. I'm not getting notifications either.

I don't usually WANT to be notified that a forum is updated.
Forums are a place to go when I am taking a break from work or need a temporary distraction. I know what the new posts are because I click on the "new posts" button. I can't imagine getting emails when a thread is updated. On a busy or long thread, I think that would be distracting.

We have made some changes to some of the coding and I have posted a longer explanation under the announcements section.
Let me know if you are still not receiving notifications.

Vbulliten has offered another solution as the first one did not work. We are going to test this solution on a different forum we have to make sure it works before implementing it on this forum. Thanks for your patience.
