Have you ever had an excellent client, with good steady income, excellent debt to income ratio, ready & willing to get out of renting and into a home. But because of some hardship that had been undergone a few years back, they are held back from doing so because of having bad credit. The hardship happened, they went through it and got back on their feet, only to be tainted for up to seven to ten years.
The adviser to President George Bush on consumer affairs, Dr. Bonnie Gution remarked, it is our understanding that computer models that predict credit risk, find that most information that is more than two years old is nonessential.
There is a legal solution. There are tons of credit repair services out there, tons. However, how many of them are operating within the law. Very few. The Credit Repair Organizations Act has clearly defined that only a 501 3C Non-profit or an attorney are allowed to help someone repair their credit.
This narrows it down significantly. Out of those that are legitimate and legal, how many of them give the average individual the chance to have aggressive legal representation by an attorney who specializes in Credit Law? How many of them, even if they are attorney facilitated, are affordable? It has been my experience very few.
However, there does exist a national membership based consumer advocate association that does exactly these two things, and quite honestly, gets the job done. They also provide numerous other benefits to their members, at no additional cost, to help them rebuild their financial lives and break the vicious cycle of poor credit.
How is this possible? Like any good membership based association, they take the collective buying power of the membership pool, and negotiate services at prices that the average individual would not be able to do.
They help on average 15,000 members per year and have ZERO Better Business Bureau complaints. They operate in 49 states and have been in business since 1990. They have a solid track record and are well seasoned in their business. The business has spread through satisfied member referrals, as well as business referrals. Would you like to close more loans? Would you like to sell more homes? Would you like to help yourself with a side-stream of income? Then begin to help people with their credit problems. As you begin to serve them, your own needs will begin to take care of themselves.
