I am #3 today for the KWP Phoenix Real Estate. But no biggie becasue I usually float from 3-5 depending on what day I check.

Something did definitely change. We were #1 for our main keyword phrase for a really long time and just dropped to #2. Not a huge deal but #1 sure is a nice place to sit.

I have noticed that yahoo has been working a lot from the visits to my site. I hope things start going in my favor soon and my work is paying off.

Yeah, yahoo is doing okay for me as well - google the same.

The problem is msn ? I have found that msn has not been picking up links recently and not searching my site properly.

Don't know why ?

If you are doing well in Google & Yahoo....Why should you care?:)

Yahoo is starting to come around now, i am in the top 100 and even have a few first page rankings. I am getting decent traffic from all search engine right now.

Yahoo definitely made a change recently. Even though they are still an unstable search engine, I am noticing that there is not as much spam in the results. For about a year they were ridiculous. I finally wrote them and told them how crappy their search results were....never got a response.:p

Yahoo has made 3 major algorithm changes and one minor filter change since December 16th. I exchanged my thoughts with Tim Mayer at Yahoo Search and did see some progress after the first to algorithm updates.

After that, the results are just plain bad.

The other day I asked Yahoo to look at two different sites and tell me which of those they thought was more relevant for the search phrase I gave them. My bet is that they say that Site B is better - even though site A is ranked #1 and Site B is ranked #250.

Frankly, Yahoo has made themselves into a minor player in search. Looking at year over year statistics on sites that remained #1 through all of the algo changes, I see a significant drop in Yahoo search traffic.

Too bad - they actually had relevant results for a while.

i agree with that sometimes Yahoo are late when it comes to updates. Unlike in Google, they are always updated

hhhmm, this thread is a bit old but still its relevant because Yahoo still updates their algorithm.
