I am moving to SE Florida

It looks like a place my company might be sending me is North Palm Beach Florida. Can anyone tell me about this area industrail wise? I am a commercial roofing salesman, that sells roofing systems, solar panels, green roofs, metal roofs, ect.....

I am young so I would also like to have a place in a populated area with other young people. If you could please reply with some places & prices that I am looking at to spend.....

Welcome I live in Florida and your roofing business is always in demand.

After the 2004 Hurricanes there are still people waiting to do there roofs (ie no one to do it, insurance hang ups, no money have to save it up, and waiting on bridge loans, shortage of roofing supplies) You will know the customer they have a blue roof. People have had blue roofs for years now. Alot of people waited because roofers came from all over USA and they wanted a local company to stand behind there work. Alot of local companies were so busy they hired imigrants and taught them how to roof. Some people didn't like that so actually now people are still looking for roofs.

Young people are everywhere and you will know for sure when Spring Break comes March/April/May. It gets hot working on roofs like 7-2:00 pm and then 5-7:00 pm is common hours.

Miami south beach, ft. lauderdale near down town are really hot for young people and night life with ft. Lauderdale being less wild and crowed. Miami has a tone more foreigners also. If your looking for a good city atmosphere that isn't as crowed and offers a cleaner experience you might want to consider west palm beach.

Oakland Park can be nice looking in the 300-400 range. Its hard to say because in South Florida housing prices can vary by over 100K from one block to next. There are slums right next to really nice areas particularly in the cities. Also, the further east you go the more expensive it gets. while generally the further north or west the less expensive with some exceptions like parkland.

I am now staying in Cleveland. A drastic change but I do plan to be there in the next couple years. Thanks for the info.
