Over the last couple months my site has been getting tossed around and out of Yahoo. I have spent several hours on forums and emails to Yahoo. Apparently Yahoo has what is called "site judgements" Guess its a step above a ban.

To the point....Yahoo has sent me two emails both have implied that reciprocal linking, affiliate adverts and aggressive internal linking are reasons for your site to be buried. I have spoken to several other forum members and that have similar situations and their sites have been yanked from Yahoo for link directories.

Any insight from members appreciated.

Interesting! My site just went from #57 when I just listed it 2 weeks ago to suddenly #109 in a matter of days. But I didn't get any email from the BIG Y.

Max,

You won't get any e-mails from Yahoo. Mtgman received responses to e-mails he sent Yahoo. And for new sites it's common to show up in a higher spot and then settle down lower & slowly work back up.

Judy,

I was feeling so bad that people I know who didn't go through seo were getting way higher ranking than me in Yahoo. Thanks for giving me hope.

P.S.: how come your av isn't walking or dancing anymore?

I only have it moving on the other forum. Been busy so haven't had time to work on it further.

Can someone explain 'aggressive internal linking'?

IMHO, that would be spamming your keywords through internal linking. For example, if you had a site with a primary KW of 'Miami real estate' that you would be linking this phrase to a single page almost everywhere that it appeared on your web site.
