I just wanted to say hello to all and introduce myself. I became a realtor in 2004, and would love to hear if anyone has any good sites for newsletters. I don't want to reinvent the wheel, and would like to send some out to prospects, current and past clients.

Any ideas?! :)

Hi LT,

Welcome to the forum!! Sorry I don't have info on any good news letters. Remax has some ok stuff on there design pages but that doesn't help much at Burgdorff. I am sure if you stick around a bit someone around here will have something good for you.
You might look at rainmaker or eProspecting for some ideas. They do ok w/ email stuff.
If you get up to Sparta give Pam and I a call and we can do lunch.

Hi Morris County,

Welcome to the forums! There are a lot of great members here and lots of helpful advice from some really smart people as well.

I, unfortunately, do not have an answer for your very first question, but I wanted to say hello and welcome you anyways.

Advanced Access hosts two of my websites, and they offer great newsletters as well as something they call intelli-cards. Those are a form of drip email marketing. I am really happy with both of my AA sites, and the customer support there is outstanding. PM me if you want more info and a contact name over there.

Welcome again! :) Hope to see you around more often.

Welcome to the forums. I use
http://www.realestateabc.com/propages/newsletter/

They will make the pages look as close to your site as possible. Very reasonable, too. Extra content plus a monthly newsletter for $99.00 annually.

Each page has its own url so you would actually link to it from your site or e-mail.

I forgot about Terry over there. He's going to be mad. LOL R.E. ABC is a great place to get a newsletter!

I started checking out ABC and at first glance it looks good. I need to schedule some time to really take a look. Again, thank you for the suggestion.

Welcome!

My opinion is that 99% of these stock newsletters are a waste of time.

When someone walks into your agency, do you greet them with scripted lines or say the same exact things that the agent next to you said with the previous walk-in? No.

In order to develop a relationship with the prospect you use your own voice and relate to the prospect with your own experiences. It is you knowledge and your personality that is a large part of making any sale.

Because you do not initially communicate face to face with internet prospects, items like your newsletter are key to developing the relationship. Your own knowledge and personality must come out in your writings.

I'll let everyone in on a secret: The most financially successful agents work their butt off in every aspect of the real estate business. They don't take shortcuts. They invest the time and effort to accomplish their prospecting and sales tasks. They are not lemmings, they are leaders.

WOW your prospects and WIN their business.

Who has the time HHI Golf Guy?

That is the very reason I don't so newsletters. If it can't be quality, then it just can't be.

Like any business, you have to set your priorities and make the time to do the important things - the things that bring in the $$$ both short term and long term.

Really, how long does it take to come up with four or 5 paragraphs each month? For our clients, we actually format and send out the newsletter along with a few of their listings each month. All that they have to do is send us a few paragraphs. We usually re-write the text so that it is more ad copy than fact copy.

Real estate web marketing (http://www.thekosloffgroup.com) is a lot different than print media marketing for real estate. Most results (contact and leads) are not instantaneous. More often than not, these web surfers are looking to purchase 6 months or more down the road.

Using a newsletter as part of a drip marketing campaign is an ideal way to keep these potential buyers engaged and interested until they are actually ready to buy.

Hi Morris County. Welcome! I use a Template Zone's High Impact Email (http://www.templatezone.com) and create my own newsletter. It has a feature to send mass email out one at a time without triggering the SPAM features in a lot of email client.
