Hello,

I was looking at the website of Home Access USA and talking to a representative. What they offer is a very easy way to buy a house from someone who is defaulting on payments. All they ask is for the buyer to be able to keep up with the mortgage payments. No credit checks, nothing additional.

It seems a little sketchy. They also ask for about $200 to registaer on their website. My question is: have you ever heard of such a company, and are they for real or is some sort of a scam?

Regards

Sounds like a scam.

Most loans aren't assumable.

And if you google search for them, guess what you find:

Anytime you pay up front fees for services - better check it out thoroughly. Most reputable companies will wait until closing to get paid.

If you are not sure about the way the company is operating, get in contact with the Department of real estate or better business bureau to see if any complaints have been filed against the company. also ask for referals.

I would recommend getting in contact with an agent as well if you are not sure what to do yet.
