Hi all -- just stumbled across this forum today (saw link on DP).

Our company provides consulting to several large (and small) real estate companies on the east coast.

Look forward to networking and sharing information where I can. :)

So much for the welcome stuff . . . Let's just git down to the important stuff. Mustard, Ketchup, or Vinegar.

Good to know that the pig didn't die in vain. After moving back to New Jersey all I can do is talk and dream of goooooood pulled pork!

I was just at a wedding on Figure 8 Island. But, I have driven through the Outer Banks as well on one of my cross-country drives. Beautiful country, but the skeeters are savages out there.

We're about to launch a new client in the Outer Banks towards the end of this week or early next week. Beautiful country! I just got back from a two week visit where the client put me up in a huge 8 bedroom house with one of those 17 foot display screens. Talk about a blast! The homes on OBX are starting to get outrageously cool.

You can view a preview of the OBX site at http://www.ncouterbanks.us

It's so far from finished, it's not even funny LOL

You are kidding, right?

I wish I were. What are you talking about?

If you're talking about posting a link, that link is a beta link. It's not the final link of the website. I'm not trying to gain any PR at all as that site will never see the day of light (as long as I own it). It's just not a good domain name.

Okay, you asked and you seem to be serious, so...

You can view a preview of the OBX site at www ncouterbanks us It's so far from finished, it's not even funny LOL

That site was re-directed to Yahoo before the PR update, and then the re-direct was removed after the update. Now our "FoolBar" shows PR 10/10 for that site, yet when one checks the cache it is of Yahoo.com.

Not a new trick, but I would've thought you'd at least know about it since you are posting a link to it.

Bah -- I wasn't trying to trick anyone. We had security in place (up until yesterday) that if you weren't coming from a specific IP address, you were redirected automatically to Yahoo.

No trickery or fooling intended. Besides -- the final site will be outerbeaches.com -- as I mentioned, that's just a beta url.

I use Avant Browser, so I can't run the Google toolbar on it -- hadn't even noticed the PR10 till you pointed it out!

Wow. I thought you were pulling my leg on all the follow up posts. IE "What", "What do you mean". LOL

It's all good bro... I was just inquiring in the first place, but then you kept playing like "What", well at least I thought you were playing with me. Any-how, it's all good, I was just surprised that you had no idea that doing that would have that effect.

Peace!

Nope -- got one of my sites in it as a trial. If you get 16 referals, you get unlimited url's and anchor tags. It places permanent links on your site to others, and does the same in return. I guess using the word "reciprical" isn't exactly right.

It's a great concept -- if they can get enough members so that all links are 100% relevent, it's going to change the way people link. It's got DP's Co-op beat hands down.

Cool. I've heard plenty about DP's. We'll see if this one starts making waves or not. Good luck to ya. :)
