Realtors in California?

Are there any Realtors here from San Diego? Im very new to the game and im just wonder whats the best procedure to follow when first looking to get your license and finding someone to work for. I know there are some scam testing companies out there and I just dont want to fall victim to one of them.

How are prices in Newport?? Have they held strong or is it time to buy?

Savage - Go with a company that is know for their training. That's in especially important when you are starting off.

Dan - Newport has adjusted downward and the market looks to continue to move in that direction. Although not as hard it as some other areas.

High end homes, depending on location, have seemed to show better resistance to the down slide in this market. It's unknown how long it will hold.
