I hope someone can help me with this problem. I have been going through some hard times lately and sure that I'm not the only person.:( . I have recently got audited by the IRS and looks like I will have to pay quite a bit of money. I will pay through some type of installment. Question is that I don't want to have a Tax lien on my property and was thinking of Quit Claim the property to my parents. Will this work or is there another way. Please help. Thanks

That will do no good - and is likely to further incriminate you if you ever had to go before a judge as trying to conceal assets.

Hi.
First of all I am a licensed real estate broker and not an attorney.
You need legal advice.
There are several ways to get it:
Contact a local attorney-some will give you a free consultation.
Contact a local legal aid program.
Join Prepaid Legal Services & get unlimited advice (I am a member
and am not trying to sell it to you).
WSJS radio in Winston Salem NC has a call in show, "You and the Law".
They answer legal questions all the time. Mike Wells, an attorney is
the host and he is excellent.

There are probably other call in shows you can try.
Best Wishes.
