We operate a real estate agents directory that gets tons of traffic, but we wanted to find a real estate professional(s) that were interested in chipping in ideas for share of the websites profits.
Right now the site makes less than $40 per month in simple adsense revenue. The idea is to turn the site into a digg.com like site that will feature real estate pro's articles and will then link to that real estate pro's blog or article page.
The idea is that our natural search traffic would jump from say 50-70 unique visitors per day to somewhere closer to 200-300 unique visitors per day which would allow us to sell actual ad space.
The other idea was to try and push relocation real estate specialists services in each major city as well and allow re's to bid on their city and become the sole relocation specialists in their city. This would result in at least 5-10 hot leads per month almost instantly for these companies and down the line could prove to be very fruitful.
So I'm a web developer and have been sitting on this property called agentmonster.com for some time now. I would be more than willing to listen to ideas from other real estate pro's that could possibly shed some light on to how we can monetize this site to both the financial benefit of the site and the real estate pros that help or that advertise.
