What exactly is the site about?
It seems Google has banned you, so maybe it's not a good idea to have anything much to do with what's going on there?!

This site is not banned by Google.
But this site has Google page rank of 0
PR6 is part of the url and it is kind of made me fell it is a PR6 directory.
May be it will get to be a PR6 directory in the future.

Bidding directories are a total waste of money besides the fact Google hates them and will penalize anybody buying links on them.

Your PR can drop for any number of reasons (url structure issues, bleeding your value, penalizations, etc...) but I would never expect a site to jump from 0 to 6 in one update...

Another thing you need to take into consideration is the page your site is actually put on. Just because the main index page is a PR 4,5,6...whatever, doesn't mean that your site is going to be put on that page. Chances are, your site will be put on deeper pages that may have a PR of 0-1. Now if it is guaranteed that your like will be put on a high PR page, then it may be worth looking into. Then again, there is the whole Google PR Slam (I call it a slam since it seems to affect the big guys as well as the small guys...slap just doesn't seem to do it justice) where they nonverbally said "we don't like high PR links that are bought".
That doesn't mean you can't get away with it though...
I have heard that bad things happen to sites and their inhabitants when google drops the hammer. Hopefully this is not the case but when it comes to Google, anything is possible

This is not true. SEs will not penalize you for having a link on these pages, if they would wouldn't your competitors buy your spot for you?

Hi Matt,
Thank you for your web directory, but it seems this is not a pr 6 site and it isn't even a 1 at time of looking just now... not sure where it is going but it definateky won't be pr6 anytime soon, but thats my take on it hope i don't offend not sure why we would pay for a link from pr0
Good luck out there
